Simply4you has won their first ever wedding award for Midlands Stationer at the I Do Awards 2022. Here are all the details from the night.
On Tuesday 17th May Bronnie attended the I Do Awards 2022, Simply4you was nominated for the Midlands Stationer of the year award back in November 2021 and reached the finals along with 3 other fantastic stationers. On the night, Bronnie and her close family attended the event held at Sheffield City Hall in the Ball Room. The evening was hosted by BBC Radio Sheffield DJ Steve White and saw live music from the brilliant Linzi Brian, as well as a speech from I Do Magazine's Managing Director Richard Wilson.
The finalists were waiting eagerly for the winners to be revealed as the cateogries were announced one by one. Each of the 28 winners received a certificate and trophy on the night, there was also a surprise category for best in exhibition.
When it came to the Midlands stationers category nerves were high for Bronnie but we're very happy to announce that she won the award. Bronnie said:
"I am completely shocked, it's such an amazing achievement to win this award and when you put your heart and soul into your business it really does mean the absolute world. It's been a difficult few years especially with Covid in the wedding industry in particular, so to win is absolutely incredible. I am absolutely over the moon.
"Thank you to all of my amazing customers who voted for me, I certainly wouldn't be here without them, and of course to my friends and family for encouraging and supporting me these past few years, it's not always easy but they cheer me on every day. I'd like to thank I Do Magazine for their help and support, they are absolutely fantastic and are always there with advice.
"Finally, I want to say a huge well done to all of the winners and finalists this year, you've done incredibly well to get to the finals especially coming out of a few rough years, keep going. And thank you to all of the suppliers who are part of the I Do community, they're always there to support and help each other which is amazing.
"I can't wait to see where Simply4you goes next."
The awards night raised over £1700 for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal from a charity raffle and donations. A big well done to all who donated.
